Amazing tour with Gustu. He's an awesome guide who likes to go the extra mile for you. He provided an extra rice terrace tour at Tegalalang and explained so much about the Terrace.
He also gave great advice about nice tours and hotspots we could visit next.
I would recommend everyone a tour with Gustu!

Outstanding service and beautiful countryside

Gustu was our driver and guide throughout the day other than when we were cycling. He was superb and I highly recommend you ask for him. The cycle itself was so fun, taking us through bamboo forests, villages and rice paddies. We also went to a traditional old community village which was very interesting. It was 2.5 hours of downhill cycling and we loved every moment. Being in our 60’s we can tell you that if we can do it, anyone can!! A lovely breakfast and lunch was included plus Gustu tailor made the first few hours to incorporate our personal interests in exploring as we made our way to the start of the bike ride. It could not have been any better and I will join Bali Hai on my next visit for a memorable day. Thank you so much. Meme xXx
Best way to experience the heart of Bali

This was wayyyy better than I imagined!!!
After a nice breakfast at a restaurant overlooking Tegalalang rice terrace we were driven to the countryside where our bikes awaited us. Then, our fun and ever-smiling guide, Sandi, briefed us and lead us through narrow back alleys of a quaint village. A sweet Balinese family even invited us to their home and insisted that we have something to eat or drink. Sandi gave us interesting insights into various Balinese traditions, culture and lifestyle. We rode through many farms where we got to taste indigenous fruits and nuts before interacting with the local farmers. The biking through the bamboo forest is easily one of the best cycling experiences one can have in Bali. Later, we explored the Penglipuran village and rode to a pond before calling it a day and having traditional Indonesian lunch.
Unlike most tours, Sandi and his team were very flexible and accommodating. They didn’t rush us through the itinerary and gave us the liberty to stop wherever we liked for pictures or interaction with locals. They ensured we were safe at all times with one dedicated person, Lala, to manage traffic for when we crossed road junctions.
Thank you Sandi, Lala and the whole team for making this experience so pleasurable and memorable for me!
Bali coffee, rice terraces, downhill cycle & Temple visits
kblala, 03-08-2022
Dewa greeted us with a warm welcome & smiled throughout the day. He took us to a coffee plantation where we tasted kopi luwak but weren't brave enough to test the swings. Next on to a beautiful rice terrace & then breakfast over looking Mount Batu. He gave so much information throughout our journey.

Then we met Wayan for our cycle tour. This was the highlight for us. All downhill through the bamboo forest & padi fields, stopping at a traditional Balanese village, climbing the steps up to a public temple, and finishing at a water temple. An amazing adventure led by an experienced cyclist & knowledgeable guide.
Suksma!

Highly recommend Bali Hai & spending a day exploring with them.
