What To Expect

When you get to the waterfall, there will be a tiny booth followed by a well-kept walkway leading down to the waterfall. The Pengempu Waterfall is a quick 5 to 10-minute stroll down the steps through the beautiful bush. You will arrive when you cross the river over the short wooden bridge. The Pengempu Waterfall is only 20 meters high, yet it's a great location to cool down on hot Bali days. Mind that the waterfall's pool is relatively tiny and shallow, making it unsuitable for swimming but nice enough to dip your toes in.
