What else to do in Bali when you have visited most of the amazing beaches of the island? Well, it might be the time for you to visit Tegalalang Rice Terrace. Being located just close to Ubud, the place is one of the most favorite tourist destinations in the region. It is a beautiful rice terrace that will allow you to see the different side of Bali. Stepping your feet around Tegalalang Rice Terrace, you will be fascinated by the beauty of the green are refeshing rice field scenery. This is a rare natural beauty that you will hardly find in big cities. The stepped landscaped of Tegalalang Rice Terrace is based on the “subak” design. This is a traditional Balinese irrigation system that has been used by local people to water their rice fields for a hundred years. To make it more stunning, this Ubud rice terrace is located on the hill bank. The picturesque views of the tourist destination making it the most visited and photographed farming landscape in Bali.

Tirta Empul Temple
Tirta Empul Temple is one of the largest temples in bali. The temple is dedicated to worship Vishnu while Tirta Empul itself means the holy water spring.The temple complex was built for the firstpresident of Indonesia in 1954. Just like any other Hindu temples in Bali, you need to pay attention to the dress code. Wearing a sarong is required and make sure your clothing covers your shoulders and knees. You can bring your sarong or simply rent one at the entrance. The entrance fee is required and the price list is available in the ticket counter. At the central courtyard, you will find the tourists mingle and some sellers sell snacks or fruits. The purification pools are located at the Jaba Tengah. People believe that holy water can cure various illnesses and bad luck. This place is pretty crowded while the pool is only 20 meters long and five meters wide. Still, Tirta Empul Temple is one of the must-visit places in Bali.

Kintamani
Including Kintamani Village on your list while you are visiting Bali is a must. Kintamani can be touted as a tourism area. It is located under the Mount Batur caldera. Thus, many visitors take a short trip to enjoy the breathtaking scenery while having lunch. Everything you need can be found in this area. The air is fresh and cool.
