This tour is a completely private adventure tailored only to you. All vehicles used, on Bali and also on Nusa Penida, are completely private and only available to your group – no mass transports and massive groups here.

The snorkeling boat is completely private and also only available to you. No waiting for start times or big groups of people in the water. Your captain will tailor the tour specifically to you.

What To Expect

Bali

For this customized private tour of the island of Nusa Penida we will pick you up at your villa/hotel early in the morning – around 6:30am depending on where you are staying (Seminyak/Canggu, Ubud, Nusa Dua, Uluwatu) - and our driver will take you to Sanur in your private airconditioned vehicle.

You will board the 8am speedboat to Nusa Penida – about a 45min trip (departure times can change depending on the season and availability)

Nusa Penida Island

Our driver will pick you up at the speed boat terminal and walk you over to your private boat waiting for you at Nusa Penida harbour to start the snorkeling portion of the adventure. All snorkeling equipment and also mineral water for the boat trip will be provided. We will snorkel at Manta Bay a famous feeding spot for mantas, Crystal Bay best known as one of Nusa Penida’s most famous snorkeling and dive sites, Gamat Bay and finally Wall Point, a coral reef filled with colorful fish.

After your fantastic snorkeling adventure, your private driver will pick you up at the harbor and drive you to lunch for a selection of local food before you continue exploring the island.

Kelingking Beach

At our first stop you will get the chance to see Kelingking Beach on the southwestern coast of Nusa Penida. Enjoy the breath-taking views over the hills and small strips of white sand from atop the cliffs. The secluded beach itself is down a rugged 400m cliffside hike. This is recommended only for the fit and adventurous people and takes an extra 2 hours if you wish to climb down. Since the tour is completely custom and tailored to you, we would then just skip other stops as needed in order to keep the itinerary for the scheduled last speedboat transfer in the late afternoon.

Angel's Billabong

Next up is Angel’s Billabong, a spectacular rock formation on Nusa Penida island’s southwestern cliff edges. The naturally formed rock lagoon offers a scenic seascape. You can descend into its crystal-clear rock pools for a swim or a soak, but only during low tide. The rock pools are one of the must-sees for visitors to Nusa Penida. Right next to, and reachable by foot, is Broken Beach. The reason it is called Broken Beach is due to the archway that wraps around the bay allowing water to flow in and out from the ocean. Both are well worth the visit and deserve to be seen.

Crystal Bay

Your optional last tour stop for the day will be Crystal Bay, a secluded cove with a 200-metre stretch of sand on the west coast of Nusa Penida Island. Besides its beautiful palm-fringed beach, the waves are swimmable during calmer tides with crystal-clear waters, hence its name.

Depending on the season, the itinerary might change. Migration patterns for the Mantas change during the year and your local Penida guide will adjust the snorkeling portion accordingly (first or last stop).
