Overview

Not far from Ubud, there are villages where serenity and authenticity invite us to share the richness of Indonesian daily life. Welcomed by a Balinese family, we go to meet the inhabitants of their villages. Along our walk between rice fields and plantations, we observe the practices of rice cultivation. In a relaxed atmosphere, we learn how to make coconut oil, ideal for cooking or massages. We are invited to discover the traditional cuisine prepared over a wood fire and to taste a homemade coffee. Under the proud and attentive gaze of our hosts, we intertwine leaves and plant fibers to make different forms of colorful offerings. A unique day rich in exchanges.
