Puseh Batuan Temple

Batuan temple, reffered to locally as "Pura Puseh lan Pura Desa adat Batuan" is focal land mark in the namesaka village of Batuan, well-know for its traditional Balinese art painting. Whit in only a 10 km transfer south from Ubud central. The side features a grand complex of shires laid out within its 0.65 Ha complex.

Well preserved sandstone as motif and well preserved traditional Balinese temple architecture are it's main draws.

The Ubud monkey forest own by the village Padang tegal Ubud. The village residents view the monkey forest as an important spiritual, economic, education and conservation center for the village. there are many of point of interest that you can see here. other than around 700 monkeys you also can see more than 100 species of the trees in 12.5 hectares of forest. The Ubud art market locally referred to as Pasar seni Ubud. located opposite of the Puri Saren Royal Ubud palace and open daily.

Here you can find beautiful silk scarf, lightweight shirt, hand made woven bag, baskets, hats, kites and many other hand crafted goods.

Naturally bargaining is essential here.

The Ubud art market also serve as setting for the Hollywood movie Eat Pray Love.
