Overview

This tour will bring you to witness the most beautiful sunrise in BALI from top of Mount Batur. Mount Batur (Gunung Batur) is an active volcano located at the center of two concentric calderas north west of Mount Agung, Bali – Indonesia. The south east side of the larger 10×13 km caldera contains a caldera lake. The inner 7.5-kilometer-wide calder. Batur cone has been constructed within the inner caldera to a height above the outer caldera rim. You will see the spectacular sunrise from the above you also the three mountains Mt Abang, Mt Agung and Mt Rinjani in Lombok.

What To Expect

Mount Batur

We will pick up at your hotel in South Bali area around 1am following by a continental breakfast at restaurant near mount Batur
We will leave the restaurant around 3:30 AM to the edge of Mt. Batur the starting point to do the trek. Climbing up to the top of Mt. Batur will take approximately 2 hrs and be accompanied by an experienced guide.
We will stop to take a rest and your guide will provide mineral water.

Around 6am we will arrive at the top of the mountain, to witness the most beautiful sunrise in BALI.
Beside seeing the spectacular sunrise from the above you can also see the 3 different mountains which look close to each other, Mt Abang, Mt Agung and Mt Rinjani in Lombok.

Around 7am we will descend towards the lower crater to see the last eruption.

We will be back on the shore of the lake Batur around 10am and drive back to your hotel with estimates 2 hours drive
