What To Expect

Taman Ayun Temple
8.30AM : Depart to Taman Ayun Mengwi.

9.30AM : Arrive at Taman Ayun Mengwi. Pura Taman Ayun is a compound of Balinese temple and garden with water features located in Mengwi subdistrict in Badung Regency, Bali, Indonesia. Henk Schulte Nordholt wrote in his book Negara Mengwi that Taman Ayun was renovated in 1750. The architect’s name is given as Hobin Ho. The temple garden was featured on the television program Around the World in 80 Gardens.

11.30AM : Arrive at Candi Kuning Market.
Candi Kuning Market is one of 2 main markets in Bali’s Bedugul area of central Bali. The fresh market has rows of stalls selling local farm produce, such as flowers and a wide range of tropical fruits like mangosteen, bananas, tangerines and strawberries. You can also find some souvenir shops selling kitsch arts and crafts at rather affordable prices. It’s a nice place to enjoy a local market scene and test your bargaining skills.

Ulun Danu Bratan Temple
12.30PM : Arrive at Pura Ulun Danu Beratan, or Pura Bratan, is a major Hindu Shaivite Shiva temple in Bali, Indonesia. The temple complex is on the shores of Lake Bratan in the mountains near Bedugul. The water from the lake serves the entire region in the outflow area; downstream there are many smaller water temples that are specific to each irrigation association (subak).

Jatiluwih village in Penebel District, north of Tabanan, has paddy fields following the contours of terraced land against the background of spellbinding Mount Batukaru and Mount Agung use traditional Balinese irrigation known as subak, Bali's community-based water control management system. Lies at an altitude of 700 meters, the cool atmosphere of more original beautiful Jatiluwih is better than the most well known Tegallalang which has plenty of cafes and souvenir shops. Jatiluwih is one of the five rice terraces that describe the "Subak" water management system which has gain acknowledgement from UNESCO as part of the world's cultural heritage.
