Amazing experience and a must see! The walk is definitely challenging but well worth the event for the amazing views at the end. Unfortunately it was cloudy when we went, but it didnt matter. Also got to experience walking around the crater of the volcano and the views of the valleys are even greater.

Meet Bakti at 2:30am drove us to the mount batur, dropped us there explained what would happened and we met iwan who was out trek guide. Both of them were really helpful and made us feel at ease, iwan helped us up the mountain and spoke about the history and now of the mount batur and the volcanos and up to the summit. Wouldn’t have made ir up the mountain if it wasn’t for iwan very supportive and informative. Great breakfast at the top wAtching the sunrise and with a cup of coffee. Then went to the hot springs with bakti as meet us after the trek, beautiful and an excellent tour. Bakti and iwan is definitely recommend them two again :).
