Mount Agung Trekking Itinerary:

08.30 – 09.30 PM: pick up at your hotel, depend on your hotel location.
11:00 PM: Besakih Temple starting point.
11:15 PM: Begin our trek to the summit.
06:00 AM: Arrive at the summit, where we witness the spectacular view and sunrise.
07:30 AM: Begin our descent to finishing point of our trek.
11:30 AM: Arrival at the finish point and boarding car to the hotel.

Very well organised great experienced guide and looked after very well. A challenging great experience but a high degree of fitness required Kaki my guide is number one.

Amazing night trekking with fresh coffee at the bonfire

We went on the night trekking to Mount Agnung last saturday and was just amazing. The booking was so easy and uncomplicated. Our driver picked us up perfectly on time and we had a nice talk with him and still time to get some sleep in the car. The trekking itself was challenging but our guide Leni was super calm and chose the tempo just right. My highlight was fresh coffee at the bonfire while enjoying the stunning view!

My friend and I were looking for an experience that would be unforgettable, this walk certainly satisfied our wishes. Thanks again to our guide Kaki, his experience and friendliness made the excursion even more beautiful and fun.
Kaki knows what he does and since half of the excursion was at night, I think having a guide like him makes a big difference, with Kaki we always felt safe.
Everything was well organized, both the transport from the hotel to the Besakih temple and the excursion.
Everyone made sure we had everything we needed and everyone was very kind.
I recommend this excursion, truly spectacular.

Adding Bali summit to my logbook

Mount Agung trekking tour was in line with my expectations: a nice hike of around 1.8k D+ to be performed by night, on a steep but well defined path.
Guide was really helpful and nice, trying to coordinate all groups climbing at the same time (we were 10 persons to climb this night, in 5 different groups => this is a quite exclusive experience).
Having done multiple climbs I can say that this one is a good one, with interesting views from the top, and a nice sunrise over Bali (you can see mount Batur and all the coasts of Bali island) and a good view on Lombok / mount Rijani at the same time.
Being really fit, we were at the top quite early (we had the opportunity to sleep 2 hours on the ground by the campfire before going to the top for sunrise) and the guide was also eager to guide me through the Besakih temple when down in the morning (and it was a very good / insightful complement).
